Now the relatives are accusing the CHC of negligence during delivery.
Newborn told dead, baby kept wrapped in cloth overnight
Please tell that Meera Devi, wife of Chandan Singh, a resident of Parna village under Jaitpur police station of Agra, had labor pains on Thursday night. The relatives admitted Meera Devi to Jaitpur CHC at 10 pm. Where delivery took place at 10.30 pm. According to the relatives, the nursing staff wrapped the newborn in a cloth and handed it over as dead. After this, Meera was treated for nervousness and restlessness in the night. When his condition got better, he was also sent home. During this, the newborn was kept wrapped in cloth throughout the night.
Baby opens eyes with body movement
After which the newborn was bathed for the last rites at 10 am on Friday morning, when he was breathing. He opened his eyes with movement in his body. After finding the newborn alive, the relatives hurriedly took him to the doctor in Sirsaganj, near the village. Describing the condition of the newborn as worrying, the doctor sent him to the Higher Center. He said that the child urgently needed a ventilator. He took the child to a hospital in Agra city, where the doctors again declared him brought dead.
Life could have been saved if treatment had been given on time.
Chandan Singh told that there was negligence in the delivery. Had the newborn been seen properly and he would have got timely treatment, his life could have been saved. The doctor did not even clean the child properly. The newborn was found breathing 12 hours after delivery. He has demanded investigation and action against the culprits. On the other hand, in this regard, Superintendent of Jaitpur CHC Dr. Vinay Kumar told that he has heard about the newborn being alive at the time of water flow, investigation and action will be taken on receiving the complaint. Where did the relatives take the newborn to Shikohabad and Agra, information will be collected. Only then will something become clear.
Son was born after 5 daughters
This was the sixth child of Chandan and Meera Devi. Before this he had five daughters. Son was born after Tulsi (15), Priya (11), Dakshita (8), Sakshi (5), Priyansi (3).
