Here, for the sake of dowry, the parents beat up their son, not their daughter-in-law, and threw them out of the house. Police reached the information and admitted the injured youth to the hospital for treatment. Where her treatment is going on. It is being told that the young man had a love marriage. Since then her relatives used to taunt her for not bringing dowry.
This case is related to Karkaulipura village of Mansukhpura area of Agra police station area. 24-year-old Lokendra Singh, a resident of the village, had a love marriage with 22-year-old Sapna, a resident of Sewla village. Lokendra told that he had not demanded any kind of dowry from Sapna’s family. However, his family members were not happy with this talk of Lokendra.
According to media reports, Lokendra was happily living at his home with his wife Sapna. However, his mother Gudiya Devi, father Garib Lal and younger brother Sonu kept taunting him for not bringing dowry from his in-laws, not his wife Sapna. Lokendra told that on Monday all three taunted him for not bringing dowry from his in-laws’ house.
When Lokendra opposed the dowry, his mother Gudiya Devi, father Garib Lal and younger brother Sonu beat him up. Lokendra alleged that his parents and younger brother beat him with sticks. Due to which his head got torn and bled. Police reached the information and admitted the injured youth to the Community Health Center Pinahat for treatment.
On the other hand, the victim’s youth has demanded action while giving a tahrir of assault against parents and brother. In this case, Mansukhpura police station in-charge Amardeep Sharma says that Tahrir has come, strict action will be taken by filing a case. In this case the statements of his wife and the accused will be recorded along with Lokendra. Along with this, the people of the neighborhood will be questioned.
