    Agadalpur News: Collector Vijay Dayaram Issued Directives For A Campaign To Link Farmers With The Millet Mission.

    Jagdalpur: Jagdalpur Collector Vijay Dayaram emphasized on increasing the production of Kodo-Kutki and Ragi in the district by connecting more and more farmers with the Millet Mission.

    While reviewing the development works of the district in a time-bound meeting held at the Inspiration Room of the District Office on Tuesday, the Collector said that apart from being produced with the use of less water, small grain crops are also rich in nutrients. Due to its special properties, continuous increase in its demand is being seen and it is proving helpful in increasing the income of farmers rapidly.

    Along with this, the Collector also emphasized on making more and more Gothans self-supporting Gothans while speeding up the economic activities in the Gothans. He instructed to make manure from the cow dung purchased under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana and sell it soon. Along with this, instructions were also given to ensure the payment of self-help groups making manure from cow dung soon. The Collector also gave instructions to provide Kisan Credit Cards to all the farmers along with the farmers holding forest land rights letters for providing easy loans and agricultural input materials for farming at low interest.
    The Collector instructed to conduct health check-up and treatment of maximum number of villagers under the Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazar Clinic Scheme, as well as mention the reason for referring patients.

    He also emphasized on providing treatment facilities to the children suffering from serious illness in high level medical centers under Chirayu Yojana. Along with this, instructions were given to provide telemedicine facility for the treatment of serious patients.
    The Collector took information about the applications received for unemployment allowance as well as the approved applications and the food grains received during the physical verification of the fair price shops and gave instructions to do the recovery work quickly in the shops where less material has been received. .

    The Collector also took information regarding the action being taken in compliance of the instructions given to speed up the development works during the tour done in Koleng area last days. During this, officials informed that the work of asphalting the road till Patelpara in Chandameta and construction of boundary wall at Koleng Girls Hostel has started. The Collector instructed the elderly and differently abled of the area to organize a camp for the fulfillment of necessary documents to ensure payment of pension under social security.

    In the meeting, the Collector gave instructions for speedy redressal of the applications received in the case of time limit, Jan Chaupal, Collector Jandarshan, public complaint and PG portal. On this occasion, Divisional Forest Officer DP Sahu, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Prakash Sarve, Additional Collector Haresh Mandavi and district level officers of various departments were present.
