Accident: Truck, tempo and bike damaged in road accident on NH-57, driver injured

Truck, tempo and bike were damaged in the accident that happened on Darbhanga-Muzaffarpur NH-57 near Simri Ara Mill of Simri Police Station area in the early hours of Saturday. The tempo driver was seriously injured in the back to back accident. Which has been admitted by Simri police to Singhwada CHC for treatment. It is said that after the continuous incident at around 4 in the morning, the police reached the spot and restored the traffic by moving the bike and tempo from the road. At the same time, the container truck overturned in a pit about ten feet below the road. It has been told that early in the morning a pomegranate laden tempo was going from Muzaffarpur to Darbhanga. As soon as the tempo reached between Simri Ara Mill and Telia Pokhar, an unknown vehicle coming from behind hit the tempo.

Due to which the tempo turned. The driver remained trapped in the tempo. Chowkidar Mukesh Kumar, who reached the spot, saw the tempo driver moaning and immediately parked his bike on the side of the highway and reached down the road to save the tempo driver. Meanwhile, a container truck coming from Muzaffarpur at an unbridled speed rammed the watchman’s bike. During this, the driver of the container truck lost his balance and the truck overturned in a pit about ten feet below the road. Passengers and local people pulled out the driver and co-driver of the container truck from the truck. Which has been treated locally. Police reached the spot and took the damaged vehicle in their possession.
