Greater Noida: Yamuna Expressway is a 165 km long expressway and starts from Jewar in Noida and ends at Agra. If we talk about the accidents on this, then big accidents keep happening every day. The Yamuna Authority has shared the data for the last 7 years, according to which there has been a huge decline in the accidents on the Yamuna Expressway. In the figures of the last 7 years, in 2022, the lowest number of accidents has happened so far. Yamuna Authority CEO Arun Veer Singh has released the accident, death and injury data from 2016 to October 2022. According to which between 2016 and 2022, till now the lowest number of accidents have been registered in 2022.

The Yamuna Authority has released the data from January 2016 to October 2022. These figures are divided into three categories which include accidents, deaths and injuries. CEO of Yamuna Authority told Yamuna Expressway But now the accidents are less than before. The reason for the reduced number of accidents is that the entire expressway is covered with a third-beam covering 165 km on both sides. 172 bullnose have been installed. There are also more tuners in place. Due to which these accidents have reduced.
If we look at the figures, according to the figures, where there were 1219 total accidents in 2016, there have been only 249 accidents till October 2022. In 2016, where the death toll was 133. At the same time, till October 2022, the figure has reached only 91. In 2016, where 15 to 25 people were injured.
