    A new record has been added to Australia T20I team captain Aaron Finch. In the first match of the 3-match series of AUS vs ENG T20I Series, 2022, on Sunday, 9 October, Aaron Finch in T20 Cricket crossed the three thousand runs mark. He is the first batsman in the history of Australian cricket to do so.

    However, in the first match of the series played in Perth, he was run out after scoring 12 runs in 7G River. But, he touched the milestone of 3 thousand runs in T20 cricket. Significantly, Aaron Finch has touched the 3,000-run mark in 98 matches played so far in international T20 cricket at an average of 34.48.
