86 people caught in Madhnidh Abhiyan: Police action in Nalanda, including 63 drinkers and 23 sellers

In Nalanda, a total of 86 people have been arrested from the district on Sunday as part of the campaign run by the Madh Prohibition Department. In which 63 people are drinkers while 23 people are sellers. This action has been taken on the instructions of Headquarters. The raids have been conducted in areas like Maghadasarai, Khairabad, Mahalpar, Chakdilwar Tungi, Sarmera, 17 No., Katru Bigha, Rajgir, Silao, Deepnagar, Alinagar etc. of the district.

On this occasion, Ram Naresh Mahato, Additional Inspector, Madh Prohibition Department said that continuous action is being taken by the Madh Prohibition Department against the people who drink and are associated with liquor business by running a massive campaign in the district. 86 people have been arrested. In which 63 drinkers and 23 sellers are included. About 65 liters of illicit liquor and 3 liters of foreign liquor have been confiscated in the raid. Apart from this, vehicles used in smuggling have also been seized. All the arrested accused have been handed over to the court today.

The Excise Superintendent said that such a campaign would continue in the district and action would continue against those who are involved in the illegal business of liquor.
