70 drunkards and liquor smugglers arrested in Banka: Excise Department team conducted intensive investigation at checkpost adjacent to Jharkhand

The team of Excise Department in Banka is continuously taking action against alcoholics and liquor smugglers. Even after this, drunkards and liquor smugglers are being caught everyday. On Sunday, the team of the Excise Department conducted an intensive investigation campaign at all the check posts adjoining Jharkhand. During this 70 drunkards and liquor smugglers were caught.

Excise superintendent Arun Kumar Mishra said that on departmental instructions, the Banka product team along with Bhagalpur product team arrested 70 people after conducting a raid. This includes 2 liquor smugglers and 68 alcoholics. The arrested liquor smugglers include Aman Kumar Golu, father- Guddu Prasad Yadav, village- Chapra police station- Barahat, and Rupesh Thakur, village- Chapra police station- Barahat. Sudhir Kumar was arrested by Assistant Sub Inspector Alcohol Prohibition near Karhariya village on secret information.

Excise Superintendent Karan Kumar Mishra said that apart from this, alcoholics were arrested in the action taken at various locations. Seven people were arrested from Dhoraiya, 30 from Panjwara, three from Banka Town, three from Amarpur and English Mor, 11 from Bounsi and Bhaljor, 8 from Katoria and Chandan, six from Dardmara. The team of Excise Department included Manish Kumar Saxena, Junior Inspector Alcohol Prohibition, Assistant Sub Inspector Alcohol Prohibition- Mukesh Kumar Das, Manish Kumar, Sudhir Kumar.
