66 children study in one room in Bhagalpur: No road to reach school, ceiling plaster can fall anytime

One such school in Bhagalpur’s Sanhola block where up to 5 classes would be studied in one room. The case is of Bhirondha Primary School in Sanahola. A total of 66 children come here to study. There are total 3 rooms for them. But the studies would have taken place in the same room. One room has an office and one room has a kitchen. The school is also in a dilapidated condition. The plaster of the ceiling keeps falling down. Children are not able to study properly. Children are always afraid.

There is no road to reach the school

There is no paved road to reach the school. Children walk to and from school using the trails. The children told that they have to face a lot of problems. We find it difficult to go during the rainy days. Children told that they want to study but the school is not good. If a new school is built, you will be able to study well.

The headmistress Manju Kumari told that the application was given for the building. Money was also sent by the department. But the building has not been built due to the villagers. The school land has been encroached upon by the villagers. Due to which the building could not be built and the money was returned.
