61 places declared sensitive in Sheikhpura: Deployment of police forces led by magistrates in view of Chhath, helpline number also released

Declaring 61 places as sensitive for the celebration of Chhath festival in a peaceful atmosphere in Sheikhpura district, the district administration has deployed police forces under the leadership of magistrates at the identified places.

On Friday, by issuing a joint order by DM Sawan Kumar and SP Kartikeya Sharma, an appeal has been made to maintain harmony on Chhath festival in the district. The 61 places in the district where the magistrates and police officers have been deputed.

Block Development Officer for Sheikhpura City Patrol, Sheikhpura, Cooperative Extension Officer at Tinmuhani turn, Sheikhpura, Executive Officer at Ratoa Ghat, City Council to Sheikhpura, Junior Engineer near Police Line Petrol Pump, Building Division, Sheikhpura, Jakhraj place of railway line Near Block Education Officer, Sheikhpura, Block Agriculture Officer near Golden Chowk, Sheikhpura, Arghauti Pokhar, Circle Officer near Sheikhpura, Sheikhpura, Junior Engineer Path Division near Hasanganj Gumti, Sheikhpura has been deputed as Magistrate.

Police officers have also been deputed with them. So that the problem of law and order can be easily dealt with. On the other hand, on Friday, in the Manthan auditorium located in the Collectorate premises, a meeting was held for the law and order of Chhath Puja, a great festival of public faith. In the said meeting, all deputed magistrates and police officers were instructed to conduct physical inspection of their deputation site in advance.

No problem of any kind should arise for the Chhath Vratis and will be present at the place of duty on the date of deputation. Under the better system, the entry of big vehicles into the city will be prohibited from October 30 to October 31 till the crowd ends. For the convenience of Chhath Vratis, a direction has been given to construct a changing room.

DM has directed to install CCTV so that there is no problem related to crowd at Chhath Ghat. Along with this, instructions have been given to make arrangements for diving on the deep ghats. Executive officers, Municipal Council Sheikhpura and Barbigha have been directed to make proper arrangements for drinking water.
