The 51st Foundation Day celebrations of Samastipur district began on Monday at Patel Maidan in the city. The program was inaugurated by the minister in-charge of Samastipur district, Shravan Kumar. While addressing the inaugural function, he said that Samastipur district is getting all-round development, in the Jal Jeevan Hariyali program, the picture of the district is changed.

In addition to health education, a stall was set up during the foundation day celebrations. The minister also inspected the stalls after the inauguration of the ceremony. During this, a young man named Mo Aman made a picture of Jannayak Karpuri in addition to Bihar, India, made from 18 types of vegetables from seeds, which remained the center of attraction. During the exhibition, a counter was set up in the health department for diabetes screening, besides agricultural seeds, the counter related to handicraft also remained the center of attraction.
