Nawada Police Captain Dr. Gaurav Mangala issued a release saying that on the evening of November 22, a group of three motorcycle-borne criminals had looted his scooty as well as mobile and money wallets from Prabhat Ranjan, a resident of Bhadoni village of Nawada Nagar police station. . On his instructions, a team of officers of the Intelligence Unit was formed.

On the basis of this, Gaurav Kumar of Mian Bigha village of Nardiganj police station, Akhilesh Kumar of Tetaria village of Nawada Mufassil police station, Naveen Kumar of Maheshwari village of Akbarpur police station, Karan Kumar of Padariya village of Nardiganj police station and Nawada Nagar police station were arrested. Shubham and Sumit Kumar of Nazardih village have been arrested.

All the five arrested criminals have accepted their involvement in the robbery. The looted scooty and two mobile phones were also recovered at the instance of these criminals.
