5 criminals arrested in Rohtas: illegal weapons and cartridges were also recovered, police had reached from Maharashtra for raid

Five people, including an inter-state criminal, have been arrested in a police raid in Dhwai village in Suryapura block of Rohtas district on Saturday, while two illegal children have also been detained. According to the information received, the police of Maharashtra’s Wasim police station reached Suryapura today and with the help of the local police raided Dhwai village and arrested Atal Kumar, who was absconding.

On November 10, 2022, a case of murderous attack was registered at Wasim police station in Maharashtra, after which he was absconding. Maharashtra Police reached here after locating his phone, from where he has been arrested.

5 including two brothers arrested

Giving information in this regard, SP Ashish Bharti said that the raid was conducted by laying siege to Dhavai village. From where Satyendra Singh’s son Pravinder Kumar and Pawan Kumar of the same village were arrested. Along with this, two brothers Pappu Kumar and Guddu Kumar of Ben Sagar village of Dinara police station area were arrested. Along with them, Atal Kumar of Murat Tola of Dawath police station area was arrested, who was being searched by the Maharashtra Police.

All of them had gathered here to execute some criminal incident. Two country made pistols, 3 live cartridges and 3 mobiles have been recovered from them. Told that further action is being taken against Atal Kumar and others by registering a case under the Arms Act at Suryapura police station.
