    5 accused identified in indiscriminate firing case in Saharsa: Non-bailable warrant issued against all five, accused will be arrested within 24 hours

    Five accused involved in indiscriminate firing at Simri Bakhtiyarpur in Saharsa district have been identified. Non-bailable warrants have been issued against all the five accused. The accused will be arrested within 24 hours.

    In Simri Bakhtiyarpur, the SP has taken a tough stand regarding the indiscriminate firing for two consecutive days to spread terror. Where the CCTV footage installed in various square intersections and shops of the market was reconstructed. The same accused was identified. After identification of all the five accused, raids were also attempted to arrest them. But till now none of the accused has been caught by the police.

    In such a situation, on the instructions of the SP, a non-bailable warrant has been issued from the local civil court. Then 24 hours’ time has been given to arrest the accused. If the five accused are not arrested within 24 hours, then an order for attachment and seizure will also be issued from the concerned court. Attachment confiscation action will be taken at the houses of all the accused.

    SP Lipi Singh issued a press release and said that the incident number 647/22 of Simri Bakhtiyarpur police station was registered on November 26 last. The accused named in the said FIR are Guddu Kumar, son of Ashok Yadav, resident of Tengraha, Salkhua police station area, Shyam Kumar, son of Kamo Yadav, resident of Gauspur village, Bechan Kumar, son of Raju Yadav, resident of Gauspur village, Raja Yadav, son of Maheshwar Yadav, resident of Gauspur village and Utesara village. Sachin Kumar, son of resident Ghanshyam Yadav fired unnecessarily with the aim of spreading panic among the general public.

    Looking at the seriousness of the matter, non-bailable warrants have been obtained from the court against all the five named accused in the case. Efforts are being made to arrest him. In the event of absconding of the accused, attachment seizure action will be taken after duly obtaining attachment-seizure warrant within 24 hours.
