45-year-old man died due to drowning in Gopalganj: missing from home since morning, dead body found in pond in evening

The dead body of a 45-year-old man has been recovered by the police from a puddle located in ward number 10 of Bhitbherwa village of Gopalganj Nagar police station area. At present, the police have taken the recovered body in their custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased has been identified as Mohan Ram, son of Late Jhuman Ram, resident of Bhitbherwa village ward number 8.

In fact, in the context of the incident, it is told that the deceased Mohan Ram had left the house on Thursday morning but he did not reach his home even till late evening due to which his family members started worrying. The family searched a lot but could not find anywhere. Meanwhile, the local people were searching for him, when his body was found in the pond located in Bhitbherwa Ward No. 10 and the police was informed.

After getting the information, the police reached the spot, took the body out of the puddle and sent the body to Sadar Hospital for its postmortem. It is said that the deceased was a laborer by profession and lived with his wife and had no children. The wife was also mentally deranged.
