VHP claims that slogans of ‘freedom from Hindu nation and Ram Rajya’ were raised in JNU, demands action

New Delhi, Aug 24 (IANS) Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University is once again in the news over the slogan of Azadi-Azadi. Vishwa Hindu Parishad shared a video claiming that an attempt has been made to defame the university once again by raising slogans of Hindu Rashtra and Ram Rajya in JNU.

VHP has demanded strict action in this matter from JNU University administration and Delhi Police.

Talking to IANS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s national spokesperson Vinod Bansal said that if such anti-nationals and anti-social elements are students, they should be immediately expelled from the university and a plan should be made to completely eradicate such mentality from the university campus. These cannot be students, they are a part of a foreign conspiracy against India which needs to be exposed.

VHP national spokesperson also demanded strict action from Delhi Police and said that Delhi Police must take strict measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur.

Earlier, Vinod Bansal, while sharing a video of sloganeering, also claimed on X that, an attempt was made to defame the country’s prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University once again by raising slogans of Commujihadi Azadi-Azadi. During an alleged demonstration here, anti-nationals raised slogans of freedom from Hindu Rashtra and freedom from Ram Rajya. It is hoped that the university administration and Delhi Police will correct them and their mentality and tell them that the daydream you are seeing of turning India into Afghanistan, Syria and Bangladesh by getting freedom from this will never be fulfilled.
