2 arrested in the case of robbery of CSP operator: 3 miscreants riding on 1 bike carried out the incident, 1 cartridge was also recovered
Police have arrested two miscreants in the case of robbery at gunpoint from a CSP operator in Muzaffarpur. A weapon has also been recovered from them. The incident took place on Kodaria road in Paru police station area late on Saturday evening.
Deepak Kumar was going home with his brother after closing the shop in the evening. During this time, 3 miscreants riding a bike tried to rob him at gunpoint. During this, a scuffle broke out between the two. Seeing the incident, local villagers reached the spot.
After this, somehow the police was informed about the incident. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and arrested a miscreant. After this, on his information, another miscreant involved in the incident was arrested.
Saraiya SDPO Kumar Chandan said that on 24th August at 7 pm, the CSP operator was going with his brother after closing his shop at Hattali Mor. Near Kodaria, 3 miscreants came on a bike. After this, they started beating him. They tried to snatch money at gunpoint.
With the help of villagers, police arrested a criminal. His name is Vikas Kumar. On his information, another criminal Roshan Kumar who was involved in that incident was arrested. A country-made pistol was recovered from him, 1 cartridge and 1 bike were recovered from the spot.
