Youth arrested with country made katta and cartridges in Supaul: Jawans of SSB 45th Battalion nabbed with bike, handed over to Birpur police

Jawans have arrested a young man with a country made katta, six live cartridges and a bike late on Sunday evening near the SSB 45th battalion headquarters of Bihar’s border Supaul district, posted on the Indo-Nepal border. Which was handed over to Virpur police station. Giving information, Acting Commandant of SSB 45 Vahini Alok Kumar said that late Sunday evening near the battalion headquarters, a person was seen on a bike in a very dejected condition.

On questioning which he told that my life is in danger. Seeing the condition of the person present there, Inspector Sudhanshu Shekhar Mishra, chief constable Sanjay Kumar took stock of the situation and started questioning the said person. During the search of the said person, a desi katta and 6 rounds of live cartridges were recovered. The said person has been identified as 31-year-old Ritesh Lal Das, resident of Sitapur Ward 14, who said that some people are after me to kill me.

After which, after completing the paperwork related to the seizure of the person and the desi katta, 06 live cartridges, Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter card and bike (BR 50 F / 8818) found with the person, were handed over to Virpur. While giving information, Birpur Police Station President Dinanath Mandal said that legal action is being taken against the accused by registering a case of Arms Act in Virpur police station.
