Ramkrishna Nagar police on Thursday arrested two people, including a woman, who had arrived to deliver dozens of bottles of liquor from Ranchi in Jharkhand to Ram Krishna Nagar in Patna. The police have also seized a car along with a huge quantity of foreign liquor from him.

Giving information about the incident, Ram Krishna Nagar police station in-charge said that the police had received information that a woman and a man had reached Patna from Ranchi to deliver foreign liquor in a car near Zakariapur of Ramakrishna Nagar police station area. As soon as the information was received, the police laid siege and arrested Janaki Devi and Saurabh Kumar, residents of Ranchi, near Zakariapur. On the other hand, the police is now trying to find out on whose instructions and where these two had reached Patna to deliver liquor. At present, the police is questioning both.
