Wife murdered for refusing to press feet: Man beat wife to death in Jehanabad, accused husband arrested

A young man killed his wife for refusing to press her feet in Jehanabad. The case pertains to Chhakori Bigha village under Makhdumpur police station area. As soon as the news of the woman’s death was received, the parents of the deceased reached the in-laws’ house. The incident was reported to the local police station. Makhdumpur police station reached the spot. Station President Ravi Bhushan arrested the accused youth named Munna Sharma. Police say that further action is being taken by registering an FIR against it.

Accused Munna was eccentric from the beginning.

The relatives of the accused told that Munna had asked his wife Rinki to press her feet. Wife refused to press feet due to ill health. Hearing the wife’s words, the husband became enraged and hit her on the head with a ‘peedha’ (a wooden stool). Due to this she was seriously injured. After this wife Rinki Devi died. The incident was informed by the villagers to Rinki Devi’s maternal family.

Makhdumpur Police Station President Ravi Bhushan told that the family members of the accused say that he was already a man of eccentric nature. His medicine was also going on. Because of this this man has killed his wife by killing her. The relatives of Rinki Devi say that her husband used to beat her in the past as well, many times there was a mutual agreement regarding this. But he was helpless due to his habit, due to which he has executed this incident. Police has arrested Munna Kumar and sent him to jail.
