As soon as the bugle of the Karnataka assembly elections sounds, the candidates are sweating profusely in the scorching heat to win. In order to get votes from the people, the leaders are making door-to-door contact and making attractive promises to the people. On the other hand, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president Satish Jarakiholi has announced to start his election campaign from the cremation ground. Let’s know who is Satish Jarakholi.
Let us tell you that KPCC working president Satish Jarkiholi has announced to start his election campaign by worshiping two vehicles bought for this purpose at the cemetery. He said this when he was asked whether he would file his nomination papers during the inauspicious Rahu period.
While answering this question, Satish Jarkiholi said on Sunday that every day is a Rahu Kaal. If there is Rahu Kaal between the 13th to 20th of April, I will definitely file my nomination. It is just an illusion. A section of people accuses me of being anti-Hindu. Who says adopting it is wrong?
Yamkanamaradi MLA Satish Jarkiholi said I do this during Rahu Kaal on a new yatra or by worshiping in a graveyard. I have been doing this for the last three decades. Basavanna, Buddha, and Ambedkar have shown this path, he said. Responding to a question, Jarkiholi said that the Congress would win 10 of the 12 assembly seats in the Belagavi district.
Some time ago, Satish came into the limelight due to a controversial statement given on Hindu. Since then his image became of an anti-Hindu leader. He said where did the word Hindu come from? It is not our word but originated from Persia, which had earlier spread to Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. How is this region connected to India and how did the word ‘Hindu’ become your word? Check on WhatsApp, and Wikipedia…this word is not yours. If you know its meaning, you will be ashamed. Its meaning is very dirty. The word Hindu is being imposed on us.
Born on 1 June 1962, Jarkiholi is a Congress Party mass leader from Belagavi. He also served as the Minister of Forest, Ecology, and Environment, Government of Karnataka from 22 December 2018 to 23 July 2019. He is currently a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly and has been representing the Yemakanamardi constituency since 2008. HD Kumaraswamy was the Forest and Environment Minister in the cabinet. He is a former minister of small-scale industries and was also the excise minister in the Siddaramaiah cabinet.
