In this superstition, women, men were seen swinging to the tune of dhol, Manar, but no one was seen to stop and interrupt it. People say that there is still a lack of awareness among the people, due to which people still believe in ghosts and spirits, which are being taken advantage of by exorcists.

At the same time, thousands of people took holy bath in the river at Konhara Ghat, the historic Ganga-Gandak Sangam of Hajipur. Indu Devi, who came from Meghalaya to bathe in the Ganges, said that by taking a bath at Konhara Ghat, one attains virtue. According to the devotee, due to the lunar eclipse, he took a bath in the Ganges and worshiped in the night itself. At the same time, due to the lunar eclipse, the door of the temple will be closed.

According to Sadar SDO Arun Kumar, for the convenience of the devotees, barricading, control room, changing rooms, CCTV cameras, watch towers, SDRF team, local divers, police force have been deployed by the district administration at various ghats including Konhara Gandak Ghat.
