Video conferencing of Vice Chancellors for NAAC evaluation: Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department said – Evaluation of all higher educational institutions of Bihar

All higher educational institutions of Bihar should be NAAC accredited. The state government is determined to get NAAC done. Educational institutions get a lot of benefit from NAAC. For this, workshops are being organized at the state level. Work is being done in a phased manner.

MoU is being done with INFLIBNET for e-library. Continuous efforts are being made on the measures of improvement. For this, a meeting is also being planned with the team of NAAC Bangalore. An action plan has also been prepared by the state government for evaluation by NAAC. All the institutes should try together so that more and more institutes can be evaluated.

These things were said by Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department Deepak Kumar Singh in the video conferencing organized at Madan Mohan Jha Auditorium of Higher Education today. Today a meeting was held with the heads of all higher educational institutions of Bihar under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary.

In the program, the Education Secretary stressed the need to work in a phased manner to get NAAC done. Asked to work by making short term, medium term, long term plans. Told the coordinator/nodal officer of NAAC to play a full active role.

Education Advisor Prof. NK Aggarwal presented the roadmap for evaluation by NAAC through power point. Told the measures to be taken for evaluation. Vice Chancellor Patliputra University Prof. RK Singh also told his experience. The heads of all the institutions present informed everyone about their views.
