Uproar after voting ends in Aurangabad: Supporters of two ward councilors clash, 10 injured

The election in Aurangabad was completed peacefully on Sunday, but after the election was over, two candidates and their supporters clashed with each other. There was fierce fighting between the two sides. Due to which about ten people from both the sides got injured. The incident is of Ward 9 Ganj locality of Nagar police station area. In the injured, Abdul Kalam of the first party, resident of the same locality, Mohd. Asif Iqbal, Ward 9 councilor candidate Mohd. Waqar Adil, Arif Alam are included.

While the other party’s residents of the same locality Ruksana Praveen, Mehboob Alam, Zubair Alam, Mobisar Alam and candidate Margub Alam are included. After the incident, everyone was hurriedly taken to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for treatment. From where Abdul Kalam was referred for better treatment after primary treatment.

Accusations were made by people from both sides. According to sources, after the completion of the elections, there was an argument between some youths and then the matter escalated. After which there was a fight. When some people reached to intervene and the matter escalated. Then there was a fierce fight between the two sides. In which ten people were injured. After the incident, there was chaos on the spot. In a hurry, everyone was taken to the hospital for treatment. The information of the incident has been given to the city police station.
