    The Election Commission of India has announced the date regarding the vacant Lok Sabha and assembly seats in different states of the country. During this, the date for the by-election to be held in Kudhni assembly seat of Bihar was announced. Voting will be held here on 5th December and counting on 8th December. The Election Commission of India has also uploaded the notification related to this on the website. Let us inform that RJD MLA from Kudhni, Anil Sahni was found guilty in the LTC scam. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court had convicted. In this case, he was sentenced to 3 years, after which his membership was cancelled. This seat fell vacant after Anil Sahni lost his membership.

    Here, after voting for the by-elections in Mokama and Gopalganj, preparations have been started to conduct elections in the Kudhni assembly constituency of Muzaffarpur on the instructions of the State Election Commission. In this regard, on the instructions of the Commission, District Election Officer cum DM Pranav Kumar has deputed 6 engineers for the first level investigation of EVMs and VVPATs i.e. randomization. DDC Ashutosh Dwivedi has been made the senior in-charge officer of EVM warehouse. DM has also deputed DRDA Director as Nodal Officer, Under Election Officer East Raju Kumar, Junior Election Officer Western Srishti Priya as Assistant Officer along with District Law Branch Clerk Narendra Prasad for his assistance.
