According to the information, a crowd of people reached to see ‘Yogiraj’ and ‘Gajanan’ mangoes in Uttar Pradesh Mango Festival 2023. One person said, “When I read about the mango festival in the paper, I decided to go. ‘Yogiraj’ and ‘Gajanan’ mangoes are very good mangoes. Seeing these mangoes made me happy.”

A three-day mango festival is organized in Awadh Shilpgram

In fact, the three-day ‘Uttar Pradesh Mango Festival-2023’ organized at Awadh Shilp Gram in Lucknow was inaugurated on Friday. On this occasion, along with the release of the souvenir of the festival, people doing excellent work in the field of production, sale and export of mangoes were also honoured.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted, ‘This event is a festival of tireless hard work of our farmer colleagues, providing an opportunity to all mango lovers including the people of the state to interact with different varieties of mangoes. This festival will prove helpful in taking our mangoes to different markets of the country and the world. Yogi appeals to take mangoes to every corner of the world

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said European markets are waiting for mangoes from Uttar Pradesh and the state’s mangoes should be taken to different parts of the world. Inaugurating the three-day “Uttar Pradesh Mango Festival 2023” at Awadh Shilpgram in Lucknow, Yogi said, “We should take the mangoes here to every corner of the world.”

 

Exporting mangoes abroad will give more profit

Yogi said, “Mangoes are being sold in Russia at Rs 800 per kg but it costs Rs 190 to send mangoes through cargo from here. This means that if a farmer exports mangoes to Russia, he gets more than Rs 600.” Will get net profit.

 

Government’s effort to increase the income of farmers

He asked the farmers to avoid shortcuts, give priority to quality and prepare their produce as per the demand of the market. Yogi said, “Our government is working on the ‘seed to market’ approach to increase the income of farmers.”
