‘UCC is political propaganda of BJP, which is being imposed on us’, Asaduddin Owaisi targets
Asaduddin Owaisi on UCC:
Different views have emerged in political parties regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Meanwhile, today i.e. on Friday, AIMIM Chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has presented his stand. He addressed the media and said that UCC is being imposed on us. We have sent our reply to the Law Commission and the legal opinion of retired Justice Gopal Gowda on this issue.
Not only this, Asaduddin Owaisi also put the Modi government in the dock. He said questioningly that the UCC issue is raised before every election. So that BJP can get benefit. This is nothing but a political exercise ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Political propaganda of BJP
Asaduddin Owaisi further said that this is a conspiracy of BJP. By making UCC an issue, the public’s attention is diverted from important issues like inflation, poverty, unemployment, China. BJP wants to benefit itself in the upcoming elections from this. We request the Law Commission not to be a part of this political propaganda of BJP.
