Two cyber frauds were caught in Sheikhpura

A police team arrived from the state of Uttarakhand, with the help of Barbigha police station in the district, raided Maldah and Nagdih villages and arrested two miscreants of the cyber fraud gang on Monday evening. In this regard, Station House Officer cum Police Inspector of Barbigha Police Station Sunil Dutt said that an FIR of cyber fraud was lodged by an army jawan at Joshi Math police station under Chamoli district of Uttarakhand on October 8 last.

The arrested miscreants had stolen a hefty amount of eight and a half lakh rupees from the soldier’s bank account. He said that during the investigation of the case, the Uttarakhand police got the clue of the involvement of the arrested miscreants in this fraud. A team led by Police Sub-Inspector Sanjay Singh Negi from Joshimath Police Station, Uttarakhand reached here and arrested Kaushal Kishore’s son Amit Kumar from Maldah village and Shubham Kumar, Shriram Sharma’s son from Nagdih village, on the basis of their mobile tower location. Got caught.

He told that the police is interrogating the miscreants of both the inter-state cyber gangs arrested. After presenting them in the Sheikhpura court on Tuesday, the Uttarakhand police will take them along with them on the orders of the court. He said that the police is also looking for other members of this gang.
