Two bike thieves arrested in Katihar: Police arrested the absconding criminal for four years

Katihar police got an important success on Friday. Police arrested two members of bike thieves gang who were absconding for four years. Taking further action, the police sent both the arrested accused to jail after medical test and started the investigation of the case.

Giving information in this matter, Katihar City Police Station Inspector Raghvendra Singh said that the city police station case number had received secret information that the named accused of city police station case number 670/18 Mo. Badal alias Mo. Badruddin and Mo. Azad alias Sheikh Azad , Both Sakin Qutubpur Narayanpur, Thana Manihari are hiding in their village. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and arrested both the accused.

City Police Station Inspector Raghavendra Singh said that both the accused are very clever in the bike theft case. High speed bikes, new vehicles installed in public places were their target. After stealing the vehicles, both the accused used to tamper with the engine and chassis and sell them in rural markets.

It is noteworthy that Katihar Nagar Police had recently arrested nine accused along with six stolen bikes, after which this is the second major success.
