Truck crushed a young man in Samastipur: died on the spot, friend also injured; The young man was returning after taking the BA Part One exam

A student returning from Samastipur after his examination was crushed to death by a truck on Tuesday evening near B Elath village under Musrigharari police station in Samastipur district. The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra Kumar, 21, son of Umesh Rai of Rasanpur village under Sarairanjan police station. Police reached on the information of the incident seized the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post mortem.

In relation to the incident, it has been told that Dharmendra along with his friend Bhushan Kumar was returning home by bike in the evening after giving the BA Part One examination at Santakbir College in the city. Meanwhile, his bike collided with a truck coming from Musrigharari near B Aloth. Due to this Dharmendra came under the truck. Due to which he died on the spot. While his friend Bhushan was sitting behind he was thrown away which saved his life.

Due to the incident, there was a traffic jam on the spot for some time, but within a short time the police cleared the jam. On the other hand, the truck driver of the incident fled with the truck. Sadar DSP SN Fakhri said that a UD case is being registered regarding the incident. On the other hand, there has been uproar among the family members after the incident. Police reached the spot and started further process.
