The girl who went to bathe in the Ganges with her family drowned: Accident happened at Simha Ganga Ghat in Begusarai, drowned due to slipping in deep water

A 10-year-old girl who went to bathe in the Ganges in Begusarai drowned in deep water. The search for the girl is being done by local divers. The incident is from Sima Ganga Ghat of Matihani police station area. Local people told that in the past, barricading was done at Ganga Ghat in view of the crowd of Chhath Puja. But this year till the morning of Kharna, due to no arrangement of barricading on the ghat, people are facing both trouble and danger.

In this episode, Aarti Kumari, the 10-year-old daughter of Karthik Kumar, a resident of Simha, who came with her family members to take a bath in the Ganges on Saturday morning, drowned in the process of bathing in deep water on the shore itself. A large crowd of local people gathered at the ghat after getting information about the incident. At the same time, the families of the drowned girl are crying badly. The enthusiasm of Chhath festival has faded due to the drowning of a 10-year-old girl in the house on the day of Chhath Puja.

However, the body of the girl has not yet been recovered. Local divers and people are searching for the body. According to the information received, his foot slipped during the bath and the work went into the water, till people saved him, hundreds of local people reached the Ganga Ghat on the information of him drowning in the river.

Matihani police station and block administration are present on the spot on the information of the incident. The happiness in the house has turned into mourning due to Chhath Mahaparva and the family is in a bad condition by crying.
