The girl’s father Mengu Manjhi and mother Madhu Manjhi told that last year he used to work with his brother Karu Manjhi in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. He had taken a loan of Rs 5000 from a contractor. Later I came back to Jhajha. Now my brother and his wife Anita Devi started asking for money continuously. But the money could not be found.
According to Mengu Manjhi, my 10-year-old son Sonu left the house two days ago and did not return after that. Brother told me that the child is with him as a hostage. Take away the loan by paying 25 thousand rupees.
Regarding the incident, Rajesh Sharan, Jhajha Police Station said that the application has not been given by the victim. Action will be taken on receipt of the application.
