The bus crushed the bike rider in Darbhanga: The incident took place in the VIP road of Laheriasarai, the agitators beat up the Khalasi fiercely

Due to poor traffic system in Darbhanga city, local people have to face difficulties every day. The lack of parking space in the whole city is increasing day by day. Cars moving at high speed from above are taking the common people in their grip every day. On Thursday night, a speeding bus crushed the bike rider near Beta in VIP Road of the city. Due to this he died on the spot.

It is said that the BSRTC bus was coming from Patna to Laheriasarai in Darbhanga. The bus hit a bike-borne youth near City Cart Mall of Laheriasarai police station area. The collision was so strong that he died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Pankaj Kumar, son of Umesh Sah, a resident of Godhela in Bishanpur police station area. The deceased was the only one among the brothers. Apart from his wife Roopam Devi, he is survived by a one and a half year old son Piyush.

After the incident, the driver left the bus and fled. At the same time, Khalasi was caught by the local people while trying to escape. The angry mob thrashed Khalasi fiercely. After that he was handed over to the police. The police of Laheriasarai police station took over the matter and took the body in possession and sent it to DMCH for post-mortem.

The relatives of the deceased were also informed about the incident. Laheriasarai SHO Kumar Kirti said that action would be taken on the basis of the application given by the relatives of the deceased.
