The police of Korma police station has succeeded in arresting the accused, who has been absconding for ten years in the case of Arms Act and forgery in Sheikhpura. The raid was led by Korma police station president cum police sub-inspector Nitish Kumar.

In this case, the police station president said that in the year 2013, Navgachia, Rangda OP under Gopalpur police station area of Bhagalpur district committed an Arms Act and forgery against Prem Kumar, son of Vindeshwari Yadav, resident of Puraina village of Sadar block. An FIR was lodged. In the said case, he was absconding for ten years. During the absconding, it was hiding in other cities including New Delhi, Patna. Last night he had come home secretly for a few hours. On getting information about this, the police reached the village and arrested him from home. The station president said that in the year 2018, on the orders of the court, the attachment of his house has also been seized by the police in the absence of his arrest. Even after the attachment-seizure action, it was running out of police custody. After his arrest, he was handed over to Navgachia, Bhagalpur police.
