Teacher held hostage in Samastipur: Villagers held teacher hostage for hours and demonstrated on the road

In protest, the villagers held the said teacher hostage and demonstrated for hours.

Angry villagers took the teacher hostage in Lodipur village under Patori block of Samastipur district. The teachers of Government Primary School Lodipur of Patori block area do not reach the school on time, in protest against which the villagers held the said teacher hostage and protested for hours.

The local people allege that the teacher of Government Primary School, Lodipur, Ajay Kumar, does not reach the school on time. When asked by the headmaster, he is also repeatedly threatened.

The villagers also said that the said teacher takes charge of the BLO and talks about bribing after the villagers apply for voter ID card with him. In protest, the villagers held the teacher hostage for hours and demonstrated on the road.

When the education officer was discussed, he said that the matter is being investigated. Action will be taken against the teacher found guilty. When the teacher was asked about the said allegation, he termed all the allegations as baseless.
