    Tax will be collected from vehicles coming to Dev Chhath Mela: 4.36 lakh settlement, will be applicable from 28 to 31

    This time the Dev Chhath Mela has been arranged for four days. By bidding the highest amount of Rs 4 lakh 36 thousand 700, a person named Ankit Kumar Singh made the endowment of the fair in his name. Tax will be collected from small and big vehicles and footpath shopkeepers in Dev Chhath Mela. This will be applicable from 28 October to 31 October.

    Tax will be collected from all vehicles arriving at the fair. The Additional Collector cum Additional District Magistrate cum Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad has been informed about this by issuing a letter. Along with this, it has been instructed that tax will be collected in the fair as per the rules. If a complaint of arbitrariness is received, action will be taken against the contractor.

    Know from which vehicles how much will be charged

    A list has also been issued for collection of tax from vehicles and footpath shopkeepers in Dev Karthik Chhath Mela. In which it has been told how much tax is to be collected from which vehicles. 120 rupees will be charged from trucks and buses. Whereas tractor and maxi will be charged Rs 70. Similarly, Rs 60 will be charged from a private vehicle, Rs 30 from an auto. While Rs 10 will be charged from the hawkers.

    On the other hand, Rs 15 will be charged from Gumti. More than this, if a complaint is received about collecting tax from hawkers from vehicles, then action will be taken against the contractor.
