After this, DMK women’s wing secretary and MP Kanimozhi openly apologized for the remarks of DMK spokesperson Saidai Sadiq. Retweeting Khushboo’s tweet, Kanimozhi wrote, “As a woman and a human being, I apologize for what has been said. It can never be tolerated, no matter what any person or party says. From where they come. I apologize openly for this because my leader Stalin and my party DMK do not forgive such people.”

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) women’s wing secretary and MP Kanimozhi on Thursday openly apologized after DMK leader Saidai Sadiq made derogatory remarks about women leaders of Tamil Nadu BJP.

In a video clip going viral on social media platforms, DMK spokesperson Saidai Sadiq can be heard making derogatory remarks against actress-turned-BJP leader Khushboo Sundar, Namita, Gautami and Gayatri Raghuram. He can also be heard saying that the saffron party depends only on these actresses to make inroads in Tamil Nadu. Sadiq had termed these four BJP leaders as items and made derogatory remarks about them as well as Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Controversy erupted over Sadiq’s remarks when he said that “the four actress-turned-BJP leaders are “items”. But the hair will come back but there is no chance of lotus blooming in Tamil Nadu.
