In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi contested from two seats and won both the seats. Now according to the rules, one person cannot be an MP from two seats. In such a situation, the question arises whether Rahul Gandhi will leave the Wayanad seat or the Rae Bareli seat. Earlier Rahul Gandhi has been saying that he will not leave the Wayanad seat, but now such a thing has come to light due to which it seems that he will leave the Wayanad seat and become an MP from the Rae Bareli seat.

Know the reason- Rahul will choose Raebareli

Rahul Gandhi may leave Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala, the reason behind this is Sonia Gandhi. This is because Rae Bareli seat is a traditional seat of Congress and is also the former parliamentary seat of Rahul Gandhi’s mother Sonia Gandhi.

Sonia Gandhi had made an emotional appeal to the people of Raebareli for Rahul Gandhi and said- Congress leader Sonia Gandhi said, “My lap has been filled with your love and blessings all my life. Your love never let me feel alone. You have given me everything. I am handing over my son to you. Just like you considered me your own, you have to consider Rahul as your own, Rahul will not disappoint you.”

Rahul has won from Wayanad for the second time

The reason behind Rahul leaving Wayanad seat is that Rahul Gandhi’s victory margin in Rae Bareli is more than Wayanad. However, Rahul Gandhi has won from Kerala’s Wayanad Lok Sabha seat for the second time in a row. After the results of the Lok Sabha elections, he said, “I have won both Rae Bareli and Wayanad seats and I want to thank the voters of both the Lok Sabha seats from the bottom of my heart. I want to become an MP from both the seats. But I have to choose one. Rahul said that first I will discuss and then decide on which seat I will stay.”
