Shri Ram became the bridegroom in the city of Vishwamitra: Buxar residents welcomed, devotees were seen swinging with the praise of Shri Ram

In the city of Mahamuni Vishwamitra, today on Sunday evening, Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram has come out as a bridegroom. A large number of tableaux participated in the procession of Lord Shri Ram, in which the famous DJ band of Buxar city also became the beauty of Lord’s procession. To its tune, the youth, women and men of Buxar, along with the saints who came to participate in the festival this month, were also seen dancing and singing. The procession was welcomed with flowers at every step. On the other hand, in the reception of the procession, an urn was set up by making a square at the door of the house and after reaching the palanquin of Lord Shri Ram, the bridegroom Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan were welcomed by the people of Buxar.

Tableaux became the center of attraction

In the procession of Shriram, Lord Ganesha was walking in the front riding on a muskrat. Behind him was a tableau of Lord Vishnu in the form of a fish and a tortoise. Lord Shiva and Parvati were walking behind him riding on Nandi the bull. King Dashrath, Mahamuni Vishwamitra, Guru Vashishtha were residents of Ayodhya in the palanquin made on a tractor. All the four brothers were sitting on the revolving palanquin, which was being rotated in all directions for the darshan of the people. More than half a dozen tableaux remained the center of attraction for the people in the procession. People welcomed the procession by showering flowers. The procession will reach the ashram located at Nai Bazar Ashram in the night.

Buxar becomes Mithila for nine days

Buxar becomes Mithila due to Sitaram Vivah, a nine-day Siya Piya Milan festival in Buxar. As soon as Vishwamitra reaches Mithila Nagar from Buxar, traditional wedding songs and all rituals are performed there along with all the pastimes of Lord Rama. Sita-Ram marriage is completed by completing all the rituals like Haldi, Mandap, Matkod, Kanyadaan, lava mixing. Under the supervision of Mahant Rajaram Sharan Das of the Ashram, this Ram marriage gives an impression of Mithila on the land of Buxar. Devotees have arrived from different parts to witness the marriage. A day before, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat attended the marriage.
