Saudi Arabia Opens Registration for Domestic Pilgrims for Hajj 2026

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially opened registration for domestic pilgrims wishing to perform Hajj 2026, beginning Monday, February 23 (Ramadan 6). Package booking for successful applicants will commence on March 4 (Ramadan 15), the ministry announced.

Saudi citizens and expatriates holding valid residency permits can now submit their applications through the Nusuk mobile application or the official Nusuk website (nusuk.sa).

    Priority for First-Time Pilgrims

The ministry clarified that priority during this registration phase—running until the end of Shawwal—will be given to applicants who have not previously performed Hajj. Should available seats remain, booking will be opened to other eligible candidates.

    Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following conditions:

    • Be at least 15 years old (Gregorian calendar).
    • Meet all approved health requirements.
    • Expatriates must hold a valid residency permit, with priority given to those whose residency was issued over one Gregorian year ago.

    Registration and Contracting Procedures

The ministry emphasized that contracts for Hajj services will be handled exclusively through licensed companies listed on the Nusuk platform.

    Applicants are required to:

    1. Create a personal account on Nusuk.
    2. Complete and verify personal information.
    3. Confirm eligibility status.
    4. Select a Hajj package.
    5. Pay fees through the SADAD payment system to obtain the official Hajj permit.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah encouraged all interested domestic pilgrims to register promptly and follow approved procedures to ensure a smooth and organized Hajj experience.
