RIYADH — The Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) officially took command of Combined Task Force 152 from the Royal Bahrain Naval Force and assumed control of the Coalition Task Force Sentinel from the British Royal Navy.
The transition ceremony took place at the US Naval Support Activity headquarters in the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
Key attendees at the ceremony included the Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Lt. Gen. Fahd Bin Abdullah Al-Ghufaili, the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, the US Fifth Fleet, and the Combined Maritime Forces, Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, and the Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Adm. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Binali.
Several ambassadors, attachés, and members of the diplomatic corps in Manama also attended the ceremony. — SPA
