Road accident in Jamui, one dead
Two youths going to clean Chhath Ghat near Panchmahua of Sikandra block of Jamui were crushed by a speeding truck. Due to which a young man died on the spot. While the condition of the other was critical, he was referred to Sadar Hospital. While the agitated people blocked the road after the incident. The deceased has been identified as Babu Lal Yadav, 20-year-old son of Sadhu Yadav, resident of Panch Mahua village of Sikandra block area, the injured has been identified as Nitish Kumar.
It is said that both the youths were going for the repair of Chhath Ghats on Thursday morning. Then as soon as both the youths reached near Panchmahua located on Sikandra-Nawada main road NH. Then a speeding truck coming from Nawada crushed both of them. In which Babulal Yadav died on the spot. While Nitish Kumar was seriously injured in this accident, with the help of family members, he has been brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Angry people blocked the road
As soon as the local people came to know about the incident, the local people reached all of Panchmahua located at Sikandra-Nawada main and blocked the road and demanded the arrest of the accused truck driver as well as proper compensation to the kin of the deceased and injured. Started. After getting information about the incident, the police of Sikandra and Lachuad police station reached the spot and tried to convince the people who were jamming.
