Road accident in Bettiah, two killed

Two youths died in a road accident in Bettiah. While one person was seriously injured. The incident took place near Dilip Chowk located on the Chanpatia-Bettiah main road in the district. Where on Saturday, the bike collided with another bike parked on the roadside due to uncontrolled. In which two people riding the bike were seriously injured. The other bike rider also got minor injuries. Which was hurriedly brought to Chanpatia CHC for treatment by the local people.

Where the doctor on duty Hemant Pandey declared the bike rider co-driver dead. While seeing the serious condition of the person sitting behind the bike, he was referred to Bettiah Government Medical Hospital for better treatment. Where he also died during treatment. After the incident, the police took possession of the dead bodies of both the youths and sent them to the Bettiah Government Medical Hospital for post-mortem and are investigating the case. The deceased youth has been identified as Ravi Kumar (19) son of Umesh Sah, resident of Jamunia Tola village of Chanpatia police station area, and Kundan Kumar (16) son of Krishna Mahto.

On the other hand, according to the information received by the relatives of the deceased, both the youths were going on a bike from their house to Chanpatia Bazar to buy groceries. During this, the bike went uncontrolled near Dilip Chowk on the way and collided with another bike standing on the roadside. In which both the bike riders were seriously injured.

On the other hand, Alauddin Miyan (50), a resident of Tikulia Ward No. 11, riding on another bike standing on the roadside, also got injured. The local people hurriedly admitted him to the CHC. Where the doctor declared Ravi Kumar brought dead, Kundan Kumar died during treatment at Bettiah Government Medical Hospital. Station Officer Manish Kumar said that the body of the deceased has been taken into custody and sent to Bettiah Government Medical Hospital for postmortem.

Police has started taking further action. The same police have seized the bike of the deceased whose registration number is BR 22 AP 5329 and kept it in the police station.
