RLJP national spokesperson demands – release of Anand Mohan: Shravan Agarwal demanded the government to show seriousness for the release of former MP

Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party’s national spokesperson Shravan Kumar Agarwal demanded the release of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and former MP Anand Mohan from the Bihar government. He has demanded the state government to take necessary steps for his release and showing seriousness in this direction.

RLJP’s national spokesperson Shravan Agarwal said that Nitish Kumar used to talk about agitating considering Anand Mohan as innocent in the case in which Anand Mohan was sentenced during Samta Party’s time. Even when Anand Mohan went to jail in the said case, Nitish Kumar had staged a sit-in in favor of him.

Supporting the demand of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, the national spokesperson said that Anand Mohan has spent more than fourteen years in jail. Anand Mohan comes from a family of freedom fighters, Nitish Kumar also described Anand Mohan as an old companion during the JP movement and Nitish Kumar released Anand Mohan in a public meeting at Miller School grounds in Patna on the occasion of Maharana Pratap’s birth anniversary. Addressing the public meeting, Nitish Kumar had said that while talking about Anand Mohan’s concern many times more than what you are worried about, Nitish Kumar had also promised that I will do my level best till his release. But according to Nitish Kumar, Anand Mohan has not been released till date.

The national spokesperson further said that Anand Mohan had struggled a lot with our party founder Ram Vilas Paswan against RJD’s terror and jungle raj in Bihar and to free the state from RJD’s terror and for a long time our late leader Ram Vilas Worked with Paswan. Along with this, Nitish Kumar should fulfill the trust, faith given to the people and what he said.
