Quiz competition is held before immersion in Nawada: 250 children participate, tradition has been going on for 5 years

A unique tradition is going on in Nawada for the last 5 years on the occasion of Navratri. In fact, a quiz competition has been organized by the youth club of Warisliganj police station area. Here, even before the departure of the mother, sitting at the feet of Durga Mata, two hundred and fifty children of the village participate in the quiz competition. Here children come out from every house of the village and reach the mother’s court and after seeking blessings from the mother join the quiz competition. The main objective of the quiz competition is to motivate the children to read and boost their morale by rewarding them.

Children from 5th to 12th take part

Let us tell you that children from 5th to 12th participate in this competition. This competition, started by Saurabh Savarn of the village itself, has been getting the support of all sections of the people of the village since its inception. Saurabh has told that he is getting the support of more than fifteen youths including his friends Gulshan, Prashant, Nippu, Amit, Bittu, since the beginning. The children who pass in this competition are rewarded in front of more than 20 thousand people during Durga Puja Mela. This boosts the morale of these children. Children here are eager to participate in this quiz competition even in a holiday environment like Durga Puja.
