Sirhind: Khalistan supporter and Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh has been given a major blow by the Punjab Police and his main aide Joga Singh has been arrested. This arrest has been made from Sirhind. This information has been given by DIG Border Range Narinder Bhargava.
The DIG said, ‘Today Amritpal Singh’s associate Joga Singh was arrested from Sirhind. This is the person who sheltered Amritpal in Pilibhit after his March 18 absconding and continued to support him. It will be presented in the court of Hoshiarpur.
Papalpreet Singh has also been arrested
Earlier, in the case of Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh, another big success has been achieved by the Punjab Police. Papalpreet Singh, a close aide of Amritpal, has been arrested from Delhi. Papalpreet Singh was arrested by Delhi’s Special Cell team under the joint operation of Punjab and Delhi Police. Papalpreet’s arrest was big in terms of Amritpal case, apart from this his relation was also linked with ISI.
Papalpreet is Amritpal’s mentor
Papalpreet Singh is considered to be the mentor of Amritpal. He was also Amritpal’s media advisor and was always with Amritpal like a shadow. When Amritpal was running here and there on the bike, during this time Papalpreet always showed up with Amritpal. At the same time, both were seen together in many CCTV footages. In this context, it can be said that Papalpreet was Amritpal’s right hand. Papalpreet used to call himself a video journalist. Papalpreet introduced himself as an activist after the age of 20. After this he became a Khalistani supporter and also agitated for the release of Sikh prisoners in jail in 1990.
