Problem: Children are being deprived of filling the form due to lack of school name on the portal

The last date for filling the online form for National Income cum Merit Scholarship has been fixed till 30 November. Under this, the DPO has also issued instructions to fill the form of maximum number of students studying in government schools. Whereas due to technical reasons, the names of some schools are not appearing on the portal, due to which the children of the respective schools are getting deprived. A living example of this was seen in the middle school, Punaura. Due to the absence of the name of the said school on the portal, children are being deprived of filling the form. Parents have also complained to the DEO regarding this matter. Whereas the headmaster is being held responsible for this. It has been told that due to the negligence of the headmaster, the children of this school are being deprived of the above scheme for three years. However, the education officials have assured to provide the password and user ID again to bring the name of the said school on the portal.

On the complaint of the parents, Krishan Kumar Mishra, the headmaster of Middle School, Punaura, said that the former headmaster of this school, Virendra Kumar, was given the user ID and password of the school. After his transfer, when the time came to fill the online form under National Income cum Merit Scholarship Scheme, the name of the school on the portal was not matching. User ID and password were demanded from the former HM. So he talked about missing.
