Clive Road in Civil Lines has been renamed after Atul Maheshwari, the innovator of Amar Ujala. On Thursday, Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi will unveil the new naming steel framing radium board of this road. Preparations for this were completed with the installation of the board late at night.
A proposal to change the name of Clive Road to Atul Maheshwari Marg was placed on the floor of the House by the Nagar Nigam Committee, which was passed by voice vote after discussion in the House. The team of engineers of the Municipal Corporation had got the steel framing board installed by the Municipal Corporation on Wednesday evening for the new nomenclature of this road link from Axis Bank Tirahe to Kanpur Road in Civil Lines.
This route will be inaugurated in a simple ceremony on Thursday. Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi will inaugurate the Atul Maheshwari Marg at 1 pm. Apart from businessmen, educationists, doctors of the city, artistes and social workers will witness the inauguration ceremony. Recently, this road was widened and beautified by the Prayagraj Development Authority.
