On December 7, in Chhoti Pahari Nalanda Colony of Agamkuan police station area of Patna, some armed criminals barged into Vipul Kumar’s scrap shop in the evening and opened fire over a dispute over the outstanding money of the scrap shop being run in former partnership. In which Vipul Kumar was shot on the neck, who was taken to Rajeshwari Hospital, Rajendranagar, Patna for treatment, where he was treated. As soon as the incident was reported, a team was formed under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent of Police Patna City to arrest the criminals. Police Station President Sudhir Kumar, Inspector Vipin Bihari Agamkuan Police Station and Armed Forces were included in this team.
It came to light that a junk shop was being run in partnership for a few months. In which there were three partnerships, one Vipul Kumar’s brother Rajan Kumar, the second Dilip Kumar and the third Krishna Kumar, all three had started the business of scrap by investing Rs 8 lakh each, but the dispute over the mess in the accounts by Krishna Prasad gradually increased and Rajan Kumar, brother of the injured Bipul Kumar, opened his separate junk shop a month ago in Chhoti Pahari. After the opening of the scrap shop, Bipul Kumar was constantly demanding the outstanding money from Krishna Prasad, two days before Vipul Kumar and Krishna Prasad had a conversation, a hand-to-hand fight and abusing gloves.
The police had identified the criminals involved in the incident by examining the footage of the CCTV camera installed at the spot. Further technical research also identified the criminals involved in the incident. Research revealed that the criminals involved in this incident are gangs involved in robbing passers-by, which have been used by the main accused Krishna Prasad in this incident as well. .
In this less, on 14th, 04 criminals involved in the incident were arrested with arms and bullets from the bypass road of Agamkuan police station area. On interrogating the arrested criminal, it was found that the main accused Krishna Prasad had asked his son Guddu Kumar and sister Bikki Kumar to take revenge of Vipul Kumar’s insult. On this, Bikki Kumar along with other members of his gang went to Vipul Kumar’s small hill scrap shop with weapons and the incident of firing was carried out.
On the trail of the four arrested criminals, the main accused Krishna Prasad was arrested from Danka Imli of Alamganj police station area. During interrogation, Krishna Prasad was told that the incident took place over a dispute over the dues of Rs 11,000. This money was being demanded by Vipul Kumar, while it was told by Krishna Prasad that the money had already been given earlier. In this incident, the injured Vipul Kumar had given his statement regarding looting in the scrap shop that no looting incident of any kind had taken place. This thing has also come to light in the course of research.
Those arrested include Bikki Kumar, Manish Kumar, Krishna, Bablu Kumar and Ranjit Prasad alias Guddu. All of them have already gone to jail in the incident of jail robbery.
