Overlooked: The waste management building to be built in the panchayats of Patedhi Belsar has not yet been built.

It is about to be several months since the inauguration of phase two of Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan in Patedhi Belsar block. But till date the waste management building to be built in the panchayats could not be completed. The office bearers blame the Secretary and the representative personnel along with MNREGA. The people of the entire crooked Belsar are waiting for the green, blue dustbin, no one is listening. A meeting was also held in the panchayats regarding the reinstatement of skilled people and supervisors for garbage collection. But the matter got stuck in the restoration dispute of one or two panchayats.

The public says that if the road is to be laid, the plan is completed immediately. If you want to dig a puddle, it is done immediately. But when it came to sanitation work, the lack of funds came to the fore. The construction of WPU buildings has started in four panchayats Nagwa, Belsar, Sorhattha, Sain of the block of nine panchayats. The said building of Belsar Panchayat is situated on the main road leading to the block premises near Belsar Bazar. The boards on which the action plan is engaged are themselves describing the style of working. The date of starting the scheme number 20325341 for the year 2022-23 is written on May 8, 22 on the board at the workplace, but the completion time has not been shown. The cost is 4 lakh 98 thousand. Human day is 137 days. However, the work has not been completed yet. Shivji Kumar, president of the ward association of Patedhi Belsar block, said that the Lohia cleanliness campaign is not going on in the block due to the arbitrary attitude of the office bearers. After inaugurating Phase Two on October 23, 2022 itself, green-blue colored dustbin material has been distributed among the general public in most of the blocks. This work is not visible on the ground in any panchayat of Block Patedhi Belsar. Restoration of sanitation supervisor and worker In many panchayats, rules and regulations have been put on hold.

The opinion of the office bearer was different due to MNREGA, the work was interrupted.When information was sought from Block Sanitation Coordinator Krishna Mohan regarding this work, he clearly said that the work is obstructed due to neglect of MNREGA. However, he took the dustbin and told that the tender work for purchase in Sorahatha and Nagwa Panchayat has been completed. It is going on in the remaining panchayats. The process of tender is allotted from the district. On the other hand the work of 940 toilets is in progress. Whereas in the year 2019 itself, about 6200 toilets have been built in all the panchayats of the block through Jeevika. The Block Program Officer told that the portal of material payment does not open in MNREGA. Anyway, the said plan is for 2022-23. As of now the material payment for the previous years has not been done.
